Things inched forward today, but ended up with the disappointing news that Tim will go to the rehab facility and be there probably for a week. During that time, we'll follow up on work he's already begun to get into a new healthcare program that can assist with getting whatever trained staff he may need to support his home use of the respirator.
He's doing well generally but eager, I think, to do whatever he needs to in order to get completely recovered and back in the swing of things. I can tell he doesn't want to go through many more months of feeling as half-well as he did in March.
So while as recently as yesterday we thought about him coming home, it looks like some more days of rest, rehab, training, and lining up services are in order.
Thanks for being there with us, you commenters, and you would-be commenters, and those of you just thinking and praying...and chanting. :^)
