The good news is: blood and sputum cultures normal. Also no C diff. So no signs of bacterial infection. Yea!
The remaining puzzle is: Tim's temp started creeping back up to the 99-100 levels in the past 24 hours.
Go ahead, amateur (and professional) diagnosticians. Splain it. Please. Dr. Infectious hasn't been by yet today, and Dr. Other Pulmonologist is thinking on it.
Both of us got a lot of sleep--Tim slept much during the night and was still sleeping an hour ago.
This will probably be another much-needed day of rest and going slow.
